Well done, but drier than a cracker on the sun.

The good:
This book is very accurate and contains few, if any, errors. For the most part everything is accurate in the actual text, though I didn't use the exercises in the book so I can't say much for them. The theories are presented in pretty good detail and with precision.
The bad:
It desperately needs to alternate between high-theory and common sense. Each chapter is essentially very dense theory followed by a series of real world examples. Better books, like anything by Rob Frank, take a moment to let you breathe and understand what's going on, and explanations and examples are peppered throughout the text to help understanding. I'm an econ major and soon to be PhD student, and even I found this book hard to understand. If you're in a business program, it's going to seem impenetrable.
Overall: For all of the flaws, it gets the job done well. You'll definitely want to attend class for this one though, as having someone explain what's actually being said is critical.

I had this book for class. It was okay. I wasn't really intrigued by it the way I have been by other economics books. This one is too educational textbooky and just isn't as interesting.

Conceptually great and an excellent source of academic information, the tome fails only in presentation. Many times the pages turn into a wall a words that precludes absorption. The next versions could be improved.
